About the Program

The St. Jude Cross Country program encourages students to develop endurance, discipline and teamwork while striving to achieve their personal best. Open to boys and girls in 4th through 8th grade, the program emphasizes individual growth, goal setting and sportsmanship in a supportive team environment.

Throughout the season, runners participate in practices and competitive meets against other schools in the Baton Rouge area. Student-athletes are encouraged to challenge themselves, improve their times and develop the perseverance needed to succeed both on and off the course.
